Yuba Info/ warm lake in may with camping
Posted: Mon Mar 19, 2007 3:51 pmwell, i just got the ok to plan a trip over memorial day. i know, it's memorial day and i'm sure all the yayhoos will be out drinking and boating, but i'm getting excited. i have a trip in mind- camping, sand, beer, and as much kiting as i can stand. i'm thinking yuba or mojave, but i've never been to either and have nothing to base it on.
does anybody have any info on either or have a better suggestion? anybody down to go with me? i may have to watch the mother-in-law's dog which is why i picked yuba or similar. somewhere i can leave the dog on the shore or tied up under a tree while i kite....
sure wish i could go to mojave next week.
oh yea, while i'm typing i may as well as this question. looking for a new/used/cheapish board. something to fit inbetween my dragon medium and my surfboard. any tips on where to go? been looking at iwindsurf.com but nothing has caught my eye. anybody been out on the wake surfers? wake skim?
