I have figured out how to add tunes, but the copyright warning on the kiteforum scared me off, so I have a lovely audio background of snowmobiles and wind.

I placed a camcorder on a tripod and recorded some footage at Skyline yesterday of Chasta, Rob Whittal, and myself gliding. Most of the footage are of small glides. I did include one on the north side of the hill at the end of the clip. It is difficult to film longer glides from a fixed position.

The beginning of the video starts with a poor relaunch of my SA2.

Note how much more Chasta has to work the kite in the air with a smaller kite/wing. It was fun watching Chasta and Rob ride, their skills are far beyond my own. I wish I had some footage of some of the kite loop, double backrolls that Chasta was throwing down. He makes it look so easy.

my favorite part is the relaunch, no doubt. The last flight was cool, because of the resolution, it looked as if the kite was cutting through the clouds. Flying is good, still need a full time video-ogropher and sound coordinator.

Very cool! would love to see this filmed with an I max camera.

The wildest part of the day was not caught on film. On my last glide some low hanging clouds came over. I came off the north side of the hill and was immediately pulled up another 30 - 40 feet. I had an eagle eye perspective of the hill. I slowly descended and came out over the flat area. I decided to turn my kite south and travel towards the flat area. My kite was lifte again, this time about 20 feet so that I was around 60 feet above the ground. Chasta came down the hill and I was worried that I might become intwined in his kite and/or lines. I could see the top of his kite from my vantage point. Chasta went back up the hill and I descended to land in the depressed area just north of the launch spot. I packed it up after that and called it a day.
