Rush might just blow away today.

Strongest forecast I have seen so far this year. Newbies, go early or just stay home. It is going to nuke late this afternoon. May not be rideable after 6 PM if 45- 50 knot winds that are mentioned in the discussion occur and the air becomes more unstable as the front approaches. Be careful out there...

is anybody thinking of riding today? i was thinking of at least watching.... i'm sure i will be blown right out on my 12M (smallest kite), but would enjoy watching the big dogs tackle this wind.

Mike,
They will be there as long as it is humanly possible to ride. I doubt you will be able to fly your kite, but you may be able to demo a 5 or 7M. I think Billy has a 3M trainer. If the wind is strong enough it may get some use on the water today.

I had to get my session in early. I have a daughter graduating from high school this afternoon. Wish I could have stuck around to see the show.

Spent all morning at rush. Showed up around 7:30 to Steve getting it all alone. Myself, Stokes, Sean (newer kid), billy, and Kenny spoiled his solitude at rode 12,13m for a few hours, switched to a 7m around 11 and rode powered until about 2pm. Huge airs, glassy water....
It was getting pretty blown out when we took off so you might want to try another spot for the afternoon/evening and be careful. A few guys are going to ride Willard Bay.
