Kite Repair in Utah...?

Is there anyone in Utah that does kite repairs? If not...what's the best option?

Airtime kites is your best option, but you will have to send to them in Oregon. So it can be expensive after you add shipping. Although they are worth it!
I haven't found anyone in Utah that is comparable.

i know steve does small repairs too. when alby sent his kite into the trees at ssb last year, steve sewed it up. it was in the body of the kite and was about 18" square. i'm not sure what is broken on your kite, but i'm sure its cheaper than sending it up to airtime depending on the repair needed.

Thanks for the replies. Airtime sounds like the best option. Todd, I appreciate the offer...but I'm hoping to be back on the water within a week or so.

Another option is Prokitesurf in Corpus Christi TX... they are the authorized repair facility for Ozone, Flexifoil and Airush kites. I've seen some amazing repairs and kites salvaged... and the price is usually fair. The downside is shipping to TX and back can be slow, or expensive if you overnight it.

I have had kites repaired at AirTime and Prokitesurf. Of the two, I prefer ProKitesurf, especially if it is a foil kite that is being repaired.
If you just need to get back on the water, go to SID sports and buy some clear sailtape. I have used it on tears that are over a foot long for several months until I had the time to send in the kite for repair. Just make sure you clean the kite and tape it on both the front and back if it is an LEI. Works great, I always carry a roll in my truck.
