NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT
945 AM MDT SAT SEP 8 2007



.AVIATION...LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS ARE EXPECTED THIS MORNING AT
THE KSLC TERMINAL. THE TYPICAL SWITCH TO NORTHWEST WINDS IS
EXPECTED BETWEEN 17-19Z THIS AFTERNOON AND MAY BE A BIT STRONGER
DUE TO A WEAK BOUNDARY MOVING THROUGH THE AREA. THERE IS A 20
PERCENT CHANCE THE WIND SHIFT WILL BE AS EARLY AS 16Z.

Fingers crossed.
Almost went to Sulphur this morning... Doubted... Looks like a late start...Deer Creek looks nice at Sundance?!... Yuba, no... Hmmm? Drive to the Gorge this morning... Nah... Get with it... Grants...no... I hope Utah Lake goes... Feels a little bit like insanity... So in dedication to our search and wait for wind...

Here's a Deep Thought By Jack Handy for the road:

Whenever I hear the sparrow chirping, watch the woodpecker chirp, catch a chirping trout, or listen to the sad howl of the chirp rat, I think, Oh boy? I'm going insane again.

PS A lot is looking good tomorrow... Maybe catch the end of the sulphur sesh and camp for tomorrow?!?

went to ssb. nice breeze no flys. jason showed we launched 15m at 6:00.
wind died quick , jason got a couple rides. i got one then collected allot of weeds on my lines trying to relaunch. spent a while on the beach getting the rats nest out. oh well. tommorow?
