Where to Ride 9/30
There's still snow at my house, but, it looks warmer today.
Also looks like the Lowe effect to me with high (and mighty)
pressure reestablishing itself after a storm. So I'd look
to Pineview this afternoon if I needed a Kite fix. Grantsville
is planable now on a South, and will probably last till about 11 or 12.
There's an outside chance for DC in the 7.5 range, but I think coming later
around 3PM. Sulfur, probably be 6.5 in the PM but still pretty cool up there.
Tomorrow will be windy, but timing will determine your destination.
Looks like early guys should get pretty strong conditions at Grantsville.
Maybe 5.0 early AM and hanging in till 1 or 2 PM (then it may switch North).
DC should be up pretty early (maybe 11 AM) for some 6.5 action
which will get very gusty by 3 or 4 PM. Sulfur might get down to 5.5
PM and get up to 60 Degree air temps.
And, it looks like around 3 or 4 PM some steady North will visit UL
launches for sunny medium sized Kites.
Tuesday looks like continued steady North at UL.
