Dangerously cold but Kiteable conditions this AM at
all UL launches. Probably be 15M stuff till about 1 PM when
it will gradually die off. Probably windy the longest at the North
Launches. WIndsurfers could get 6.5 rides at Saratoga Springs
Park from now until 1 also. Max temp around 1 (when it starts
to die will be about 45 degrees. If you go stay smart out there,

Tomorrow looks windless to me

Tuesday, Weds, and Thiursday look like good DC thermal days,
and warm enough to keep the ice-cream brain freeze at bay.

I don't know if water kiters have built in thermometers, but when there is snow on the ground its time to snowkite... hitting the water with snow on the ground makes my testicles climb their corporate ladder into warmer regions, despite layering with neoprene like an Egyptian mummy. Don't freeze your feet, drive up to the peak

Its far too early season to say its 'safe' to snowkite at any Utah locations... but we may start to see good rides soon, last nights dump may have helped open up the grassy flat areas to Snowkiting.

Skyline is still in the white room, and I will head up this afternoon to see what it looks like. I'm sure the large boulders are still visible, but hoping that there is a pack to ride on the flat areas.

Judging by the snowtel, it seems the Wasatch Plateau grapped at least 6 more inches, with another inch depth for every hundred miles farther north you go.

Thoughts from a warm blooded winter boy... who is excited to put the last season back in its bag.
