After 6 miles of washboard, I arrived sun in time to see Jamie get a few rides on his 6.5 but by the time I rigged , it died. Oh ya that was South winds. Monday turned around and gave us North winds.Jamie and I got the most of it and the best of it. He on his 6.5 again and me on my 5.9. They were calling for North wind for a few days and so I packed up and drove to Katherine's Where on tues I sailed 5.9 again but only for a couple of hours then it died.I found out later they didn't sailat 6 mile at all.But wow on Weds. even though they were only calling for 10-20, it nuked.I tried to go out on my 5.2 but couldn't do anything so I put up the 4.7 and even it was a bit much. Sailed till I had no arms left with small swells over on the Nev. side With very smooth water between them.Lots of fun and only one kiter and a couple of other sailers who didn't last long in the stong wind. They say normally it dies after noon but not that day. It didn't get holey and start to die untill 3:00 or so. Heather and her boyfriend (kitrs from Vegas)said when they left to come down to Katherine's the Guys were rigging 6.5's at 6 mile. I don't know if it got better but I'm glad I went South. Then on thurs sailed 5.9 again good till about 1:00 It doesn't sound like they got anything on thurs at 6 mile.Another + for Katherine's is the nice (uncrouded now)campground with 25 cent showers and happy hour at Chili's in Bullhead City from 3-7 0n weekdays with $3 margaritas. The 5.9 stuff was fun but the 4.7 day alone was worth the drive. I hope everyone going down for turkeyday has as much fun as I did. Take care and Happy Holidays to everyone. Pray for peace. Tom W.
