So, as a winter kite nube, I am thinking about going up to this Ozone thing. I don't know what to expect, but I want to meet some of you and get more into the scene, since I gave up all my funds that were dedicated to a seasons @ Alta and new ski equipment to buy this kite set-up. I was thinking about leaving pretty early on Saturday am-like 7, and returning around 5pm. Anyone wanna come? I've got an old AWD Volvo XC with new tires and plenty of room for 4 peeps and gear. I am also going to bring some of the newest homebrew. Cuz we might be sitting around just strokin it because the conditions blow or there are too many people there.

Lemme know,

Johnny

PS - I have a sweet-ass harness I won at the movie for trade. It was the black Dakine leather waist job, with some really intimidating name.

One of the best parts about kiting for me is meeting and kiting with the same locals again and again with little in common but the sport. Seeing the same addiction effect other peoples lives and its understood. Thats cool. I'll see you out there, I'm the biggest goofiest looking guy with the fattest and phattest skis out there. yaa.., now if I can learn to do something cool with em..

Man, I'm starting to get really bummed about missing this weekend. (doing the family holiday time visit to chi-town this weekend. bringing some kites with though, they actually got a few inches on the ground there and i'm getting my budy addicted) Would like to share rides with you guys after this weekend though. I'm in sugar-hood too so sounds like it'll be easy to meet up.
hope it's a fun time up at skyline this weekend,
john

Jason, after hearing about last weekends blizzard-and the fact that this storm is supposed to be even bigger-I'm thinking of the same thing. Plus we get the deeper pow on Sunday.

Anyone want to carpool? home phone 475-788 cell 201-8205 call me, I don't have computer access.
