How to clean the dirt out of your garage
Posted: Sat Dec 08, 2007 11:01 amSounds off topic, but every snowkiter struggles with it. The best bet of course is to spray down your vehicle on the way home. However, you are still going to get a fine layer of salt and dirt buildup as well as standing water.
The best method I have found is to throw a shovel full of powder snow on the grime and standing water. The powder works like a sponge clinging to the dirt and salt while soaking up the water. I use a snow shovel and move it around the garage. Works far better than hosing it down or sweeping.
