Anyone know what the weather is doing? Looks like the forecast for tomorrow as skyline was downgraded and news of a cold-front brushing the north end of the state might make it a good day up at Powder Mountain on saturday and better at skyline on sunday. Anyone who's dialed into the weather have a real clue?? At least Pow Mow assures lift accessed runs if youre skunked. Has anyone tried using their Kiting pass for accessing any of the lifts (kiter grey-market discount)? Just curious as I'm a very "frugal" individual (that's cheap if you're my ex-wife).

Pow mow will be from the north west, not the optimal wind direction. I'd look elsewhere, unless it switches to west.

It looks like Sunday will be the better Kiting Day. I like using the point forecasts from the NWS, they seem to be quite reliable. They are forecasting West 7 to 11 on Saturday and Northwest 9 to 17 on Sunday at Strawberry. Skyline is forecast to be light to moderate SW on Saturday, which may be OK, but clouds are also forecast for this Saturday brushby, so Skyline could be clouded over??? Now Both Strawbery and Skyline are showing better north northwest winds. Might head to skyline as it looks like it'll only get better. What is the link for the skyline web cam?
