Stolen Kites!

I had my Jeep busted into today while at work. The crooks grabbed my 10m and 14m Monsoonz. Both had bar and lines already attached. Pissy thing is they will likely end up in the trash because I am sure they have no idea what they stole. Both were in black backpacks. They didn't get anything else, but I'd gladly give a stereo, snowboard and whatever else was in the car to get those two kites back. If anyone hears, knows or sees anything let me know. I'm hoping that the dumbass(s) try and sell it on Ebay or the classifieds, but I doubt it. I'll give a generous reward for anyone that finds these! Worst thing is I am heading to S. Padre next weekend and I am left with a 12m Crossbow.

Mike,
I hate to hear about that kind of thing happening. I have some Best Waroos you can borrow if you like. I don't want your vacation to be wasted because of some thief. I have a 7, 9, and 12 2006 Waroo that you can borrow for a week. Let me know if you are interested.

Bummer deal! Good thing is that they should stand out should someone try and fly them.
Do you have any pictures of your kites you could post on this site?
What part of town were they stolen from? Maybe someone will try to fly them close by.
I will keep my eyes open.

Thanks for the offer Kenny, very nice of you. I should be good with the 12m and I am debating on ordering another 10m Monsoonz. It may not get here in time, but summer is few months away. I'll enjoy the snow while I can. My homeowners should cover the most of it to replace them.
The car was broken into in Taylorsville. Someone saw a white pickup truck with a white male, longer hair looking suspicious. I checked the beds of way too many white trucks already! I am sure the kites are already on the way to the landfill. The police are never of much help with things like this. It has happened all too often. If they are dumb enough to try and sell them, I still have serial numbers, and there are only a few of these in the states.

That said, maybe post on KSL, flyers at your work building and stores close to it, or Craig's list for a reward of a couple hundred bucks for people who turn in their "friends" for stealing some kites. Or reward for return, no questions asked, just paintball guns!
