How cold is the water at the various lake?

Serious. No lies ;)

Is it doable with just a good 4/3 and booties yet?
What's the warmest lake at this point?
And lastly is Rush Lake windsurfable (say like spring 2006?))

Thank you :)

Info on the Utah State Park page for Willard has the water temp at 40. http://stateparks.utah.gov/conditions/p ... ml?id=wbsp
I was comfortable yesterday in my 5/3 wetsuit. Had some 2m bootie/wetsocks on too. Maybe could have gone with out the booties with the air temp being in the 70s but it was nice having them on.
Haven't been to Rush yet but I would imagine the water is a little warmer there.

i would think that utah lake is the warmest due to the silt, but I don't have a fancy inferred tempature gun like George Ward.

grantsville is cold but I didn't use gloves yesterday. I have come to the conclusion that a swimmers cap works just as good as neopreme hood. Latex gloves work remarkably well as well. They just shed water really fast.

anyway gotta go

Rush is almost as full as the Spring of 2006. You could probably get some rides out in the middle.

As far as water temp, it really depends on the day. Rush is so shallow that it does not retain heat or cold like other bodies of water that we frequent. However, that being said, I am positive that it is warmer than Grantsville or DC.
