Safety Discussion - Contact Info
Posted: Mon Apr 21, 2008 1:09 pmI would like to add some contact information to the website regarding who to contact when in need of help. IE sheriff offices, ranger station phone numbers and such. Ideally everyone could put the phone numbers into their cell phones so if something happens we have a contact.
My guess is that Utah Lake is probably the most dangerous place to ride considering it's size.
Anyway I am going to try to get the information listed.
If you think that there is a number/contact that should be added for your spot then please tell me.
Of course call 911 if there is an emergency but if you need something that is just slightly less then an emergency these numbers could help. I know there are times people want to call the local sheriff but don't feel it is appropriate to dial 911. Drunk boaters, couch burning parties, (coach burning parties too, if an SEC Football team ever visits and ever losses,) etc.
