Where to Ride 6/10 (will move to the new forum Tomorrow)
Windy everywhere today (except Grants). Look for a strong Southwest wind at DC early, probably 10Am till about 1PM
in the 5.5 range, then a rapid degeneration to reallly strong gusts and really light lulls. Then move to the north wind
locations. The strongest sustained winds will be at UL launches this PM. Windsurfers can look for 7.5 conditions
around Noon, and then gradually increasing, maybe getting to 4.5 by around 4 PM at Saratoga Springs Park.
Should blow till dusk, but tapering off as light gets dim. Kiters might want to take a 15 for the Noon rides at Lindon,
or Lincoln (about 1 PM), but wind will increase until you're on your 9, and maybe get down to trainer Kite velocity
by 4 or 5 PM. Kiters watch the skies (and the water color from the North), as thunderheads with increased
wind velocity will pop up. Be really careful. Rush will be earlier, but a little lighter and probably settle in the 9M range
around 3 or 4 PM. Be really careful out there also, because the thunderhead potential there, might cause some killer
gustery (along with rain/hail). Sulfur looks like 5.5 west wind also today.
Tomorrow remains North at Rush and Ul launches probably in the 7.5/15 range PM, but colder with some rain.
Thursday remains North and light but planable
