Utah summer games, course question:
After looking at the course to be set up at the island beach, I noticed the figure 8 that is to be used. Is that what was run last years? Figure 8 are great but with a narrow reach and a fleet of inexperienced racers, that sounds a little like a disaster waiting to happen in the middle 
Wouldnt a very sligth downwind bias with 6/8 separate buoys be better so there is less "crossing" in the middle (starting south end of the the beach and going slowly north to the end of the beach ?
Just a thought... I am clueless about racing mind you...
