DC today 6/30?
Posted: Mon Jun 30, 2008 11:29 amAny possibility of DC going off today? I have no clue what to go off on DC, but Sundance shows pretty consistent 11-14 mph winds this morning. Any help?

The current conditions don't favor DC today, but a sage old windsurfer friend of mine always says
"if you don't go you won't sail". Pretty much applies to Kiting as well. I have ridden many days
when the forecast didn't look good, but I just had to try any way. 11-14 at Sundance is not
typically enough, plus the high heat and temp diff just don't support it. No kinks in the
pressure gradient either. Normally, a low pressure centered of SLC might help, but todays
low is sorta heat generated in the valley, which is also a bad sign for DC.
