Uses for Destroyed Lines

So on Dec 24th a snowmobiler ran over my bar and lines (new lines no less) and sucked them into the snowmobile track. I was lucky that they stopped and that my kite didn't scoop me up and drag me into the snowmobile. I may bring some bamboo to encourage them to go to the giant groomed path that's available for them at Strawberrry.
At any rate, are there any good uses for cut lines?

Why don't you leave them out to tangle up in a snowmobile? Might reduce the frequency of snowmobile issues?

Lines can be spliced, wich reduces the overall streanth by 20%. It is very difficult to splice lines and is not worth the time and trouble to attempt. But in my experience, when at Straws and Skyline, never leave your lines out after a sesh and never turn your back, always be ready to jump up and wave off an oncoming sleder. Most of them dont know that our gear is out infront of thier path

Chris, if most of the lines are undamaged, you could create a set of line extensions for light wind days.
Dave, is correct. It is our responsibility to quickly unroll our lines when launching and roll them up quickly when we are done. It is also wise to setup and land away from the high traffic areas. I am not a big snowmobile fan (I hate the noise), but we can't fault them for not always seeing our puny lines lying in the snow.
