Woohoo, I am famous. Thanks for the great pics. Interesting how it makes the lake look small - looks like the other shore is only a half mile away or so, even though it is really several miles at least to the AF boat harbor. It is always interesting to me to watch sailors disappear on the horizon at Utah Lake as they sail across. On that same stretch once I had an outhaul break as a few of us were going across. By the time I retied it and got going again, I could not see one person in our group.

Yeah that's what happen when you use a 300mm on a digi SLR which makes it effectively 450mm!! I love the one with Sarah and the HUGE mountain behind!
(DCJIM: the camera is a Nikon D70 and I already love it!)

For having done my first crossing this Saturday, I agree, the lake is BIG!!
