Monte Cristo Access Closed?
Posted: Sat Dec 11, 2010 4:52 pmI went to Monte today and got skunked. But what worries me is there may be a permanent skunk at Monte for everyone. There are several new signs that say "No tresspassing-Private Property $800 fine" These signs were placed at the top of the rise where it opens into the previous kiting area on the left side of the Ant Flat road. I think I know someone who said they knew the owners but it doesn't look good. One of the signs was an old plastic sled that had those words written on it. The sled was draped around the last fencepost on the left by the riding area. It was obviously made for winter users. There were some snowmobile tracks in the posted area but not too many. Any Ideas?
