I just tried to pay my annual dues using the Pay Pal link from this site. It did not go thru. What up?

Could not do it directly thru Pay Pal. Did it by CC thru Pay Pal. Anyway, I paid my dues. I encourage all who have not renewed for this year, to do so. UWA is a much valued asset.

Jon, How are you?? I have not seen you out this snow kite season. I know you headed for some warmer weather for a while, so did we. Hope all is well. SR

Thanks Jon! I'll look into that. Did you sign into your PP account and try to pay using funds in your acct? The credit card/debit card payment method did work, right? And Thanks for the dues reminder to us all.

On behalf of the UWA I'll opportunistically add to what Jon said; we do want to keep dues paying on the honor's system... That is, we don't really want to go through the trouble of making a certain aspects of the website only accessible/viewable to dues paying members unless we have to. So, we appreciate the volunteer payments from UWA members. It's nice for those of us who live here to offer the website's resources of info for those who come in town to ride or are contemplating a move to the area. etc. Both Craig Goudie and Kenny Farnsworth volunteer their time and knowledge to help us efficiently get our fixes with their forecasts. The website isn't free to the UWA and requires more maintenance by the UWA volunteer officers than meets the eye... However, we've really geared the dues to be as affordable as possible... check out the dues link and pay via cc/debit card securely through paypal. Thank You.

Also, if you want to get involved with the UWA... PLEASE DO! Contact us, volunteer, and get involved.

Thanks...

I just paid my dues via Pay Pal, and it seems to have worked fine; didn't have to enter a credit card #.

Must just be me. Kinda a subtle way to get everyone thinking about paying their dues. A beneficial, unintended consequence.

I worked for me.

How's your winter been? Will we be seeing you kiting on DC this summer?
