I’m thinking of checking out Powder Mountain for the 1st time tomorrow (Saturday). Is there any time of day that is generally better than others for winds? Is anybody else out there thinking of going?
What is the best site to check for wind conditions at Powder Mountain?
Thanks for your help,
Nate

				Nate,
I've seen a good correlation between Pow Mow and the Logan Peak sensor the times I have been, both are at about 9,000 feet. I think it is better on a South or SW, because there are fewer trees on those exposures. Marty or Augie ride there more often. Whit

Don't see much potential for Powder Mountian 3/11.
If the wind is blowing east early in the morning,,

Pine View may be the only thing happening. IMHO
Then maybe head up to PM later in the day.

Great, thanks for your pointers. I'll probably check out Pineview in the morning and see where the wind takes me from there.
