5/25 Salt Ponds (Utah's little Caribbean)

The Salt Ponds have a clean sandy beach, side-shore winds, and turquoise salt water. Okay, there is a stinky mud layer right below the sand and the water has a higher salinity than a breast implant. However, while riding in super smooth wind I could almost imagine I was riding the flats of Aruba, especially since I did not put my head in today. Rode fully powered for 90 minutes. Flew a 17M Silver Arrow and rode on a 149 Glide. Unseasonably warm days create the best thermal. Who wants to join me?

Kenny,
call me next time you head out there. Ive kited there a few times and im down to go again, last time i kited there was with thomas and he didnt wear booties and where we were there was about a 1/4 inch salt crust on top of the mud and everytime he would step down his foot would break throw the salt crust and cut his foot so you know how that much salt would feel in a new cut.. I felt bad but it was funny at the same time. I just cant get him to go back with me now..... so call me when you head out there next 801-201-4005 ryan allen
