Utah Lake Wing Foil Launches

Utah Lake: What is the best location to launch a wing foil board for a NNE wind (like this evening per Craig)? Are folks doing downwinders?

I launched at Utah Lake State Park. Kinda less than ideal because to avoid the rocks I had to launch just inside the harbor and swim about 100 yards out of the mouth into the wind. But the real problem was the carp. I was on the water less than an hour and I had 4 carp that sent me boom-boom-over-tea-kettle kersplashy and bunches more that just caused a bump. Whats the best place to launch in a north wind? Does the lake always have lots of carp or was I just unlucky?

The wind was super steady though! Clean. Consistent. Much different than Deer Creek. I didn’t need to play the guests or worry about holes or the wind dying.
