1/7 Kenny's Where to Ride

Strawberry is ON this AM. However, it will probably fade by noon. It is not looking good for wind today. If you can access ridgelines over 10,500 you might get some rides.

Saturday looks promising at Skyline for some pre-frontal wind.

Sunday will have wind and snow. Visibility may be an issue.

The good news is that after this next moderate storm system moves through, the flow turns westerly. That means more snow and more wind.

Kenny,

I'm curious about the last 2 mornings. You have said that Strawberry is "On" at 4 to 5mph gusting 8 to 9mph at the Daniels Sensor. Did anyone get a ride there the last 2 days? I agree that the current NW direction is preferred there. Usually I like to see the Daniels sensor get to double digits before making the drive....
I have a couple of adventure book recommendations for you too. Whit

Hey Whit,

I should probably clarify that the wind is in the low teens when the wind is 4-5 gusting to 8 at Daniel's.

Thanks,

Kenny
