6/18 Grantsville 5.7 up and down then waaay up and down

Ken and John were doing Dad's day stuff so we were the only pole boarders. Good wing contingent sailing from the south end, 4-5 wings out, which was fun to watch. 5.7 almost right away from ~9:00-10:00, with some holey sessions. Then really holey with a few big gusts. Particularly "liked" the 11:00 22-gusting to 36 section, which was pretty white knuckled. Overall the last two days weren't as consistent as G-ville can be, which was a bit surprising. These bands of clouds would come overhead and it would get weird. Called it shortly thereafter. Glad we didn't stick around for the PM session which had high teens gusting to 40+.

Wingers were out and then in during some lulls but mostly out on the water demonstrating good wind range and some brilliant smooth jibes. Saw some cormorants as well.
