1pm start, blew till 6pm, big gear planers but Craig called it exactly. Carl, the Bradshaws, Josh Shirley, Trevor and Troy. Bathrooms are open, no water and the launch is great. Very quiet compared to Island, no road traffic, just the sound of happy sailors. Had a report that Yuba was 7.5 in the afternoon.

Further evidence (if any were needed) that a weather station located at the Heber Valley end of DC fails to give an accurate indication of the windspeed at DCSBB:
