A fine but cold day saw Sarah, Gunars, Ken, and I hit the 5.5 conditions
about 1:30, with Jim Hornbeck about 5 Minutes behind. Great
5.5 conditions which had me boarding down after about 15 Minutes.
A thunderhead rolled in about 3 PM shifting the wind very Easterly
and setting us up for port swell rides and starboard ramps.

Then it was your choice between pelting or waiting as the thunderheads
passed. The parking lot had filled with windsurfers by then. Sailing into
the huge rainbows, with a hint of snowcapped mountains underneath was
pure joy.

When I left about 6 PM a solitary Rick McClain was ripping the glory rides of the
day with steady strong winds and rainbow enhanced sunshine on small gear.
Good on ya Rick!

It was great to be on the small 75ltr board and playing in the swell. I bit cold, but it didn't seem to matter, every one was having fun. good to see Goudie and Gunners on Utah waters again....Hope we get a few more sessions like that this fall. Happy Ridin
