Definitely big-gear conditions and well after 2 PM (closer to 5 PM, actually.) Wouldn't have gone out if John Dubock hadn't called at about 5 PM to report that his brother Glenn was at DCIB and that it was starting to blow there. Nobody on the water at IB, so we proceeded on to SBB, where I rigged as fast as I could and got on the water just after the sun disappeared behind Timp. Not ideal conditions for photography, but I did get enough planers to make it worthwhile. And I had the undivided attention of one of the world's top windsurfing photographers. A true Walter Mitty moment!
