Interested in kiting

Hello,
I have been a member of this board for a couple of years now. I have been windsurfing in Utah for some time. However, I am interested in switching over to kiting. It appears to require less gear, you go faster and fly higher. Therefore,it must be better. I am looking at picking up some used gear and giving it a shot. I already own a trainer and am pretty good at flying it. I was wondering if there is anyone on this board that would be willing to have me tag along with them the next time they go out, and possibly give me an intro lesson, along with some advice on gear. I am interested in doing this mainly on water, but also on snow. I have a wet suit. If anyone would be willing to do that please let me know. I would be very appreciative of it.
