Powder Mountain is open for kiting

Postby andybolt » Mon Feb 10, 2014 6:05 pm

After this last storm the Powder Mt snowkite bowl is ready to go! The storm came in wet and heavy w/ 3-4' of new snow. Looks like a SW flow all week, could be some good kite days coming up. The snowkite lesson center is also open, call the Powder Mt adventure center for details.

Thanks!

The Pow Mow kite bowl is open 30 minutes later this year, 9 am - 4:30 pm weather permitting. Last chair on Hidden Lake lift is 4:30.

Hey Andy,
Thanks for the report! Does Patrol sweep at 430 and you have to leave?

Eric -
Yes, ski patrol would appreciate kiters out of the bowl by 4:30, leave a little early if you plan on taking the hidden lake chair back out.

Thanks!
