My 2 Cents for Strawbs (22 Jan 2011)

If you believe NOAA, the wind at Strawberry should be ramping up around noon if it isn't cranking already. Expecting west winds to 30 mph on the ridges maybe 20 mph in lower areas decreasing slowly as the day goes on - down to 14 mph WNW by sunset. With the west component, I'm heading to the view area first - (I think Strawberry River will be slightly blocked) Gusts at 9400 feet at Deer Valley have already hit 50 mph. I think visibilty will be good with the occasional squall spoiling things.

See you there :oo
