3/20 Kenny's Where to Ride

Well, it is almost officially spring. It is great to see Craig is back forecasting again which means I will be able to enjoy my summer respite soon. However, the snow kiting season is not over yet and for those of you that hate dry suits and thick wet suits, there is plenty of snowkiting available. In fact, we could still some epic riding conditions in the months to come. Strawberry days are numbered due to the lower altitude of Strawberry compared to Skyline or PowMow. So, if you love Strawberry get it while it is still rideable.

Today looks super windy at PowMow and Skyline with nukin wind in the upper twenties and low-thirties with much higher gusts. Strawberry looks more manageable. The marina should give up the goods, but the wind looks strong enough that Strawberry River and CC East should also give up rides. Snow flurries may pass by throughout the day as well. Surface conditions look more promising at Strawberry than Skyline and PowMow. May soften up for some corn riding, looks like hardpack at the high mountain locations.

Monday looks like more of the same, but colder so expect hardpack at all locations.

Tuesday is promising some northwest wind at Strawberry and Skyline. Hardpack snow with a dusting of fresh looks like the call for the surface as temps remain cold.
