7/8 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Fri Jul 08, 2011 10:36 am

The song remains the same, with continued Monsoonal flow and high pressure. A weak short
wave will fail in an attempt to impart some energy to inter-mountain area but that might
get a little 9.5/20M wind going at DC late afternoon. If you're as desperate as Josh, you
might consider heading up there, at least the environment is pleasant. Really pleased to see
some rogue wind at Lincoln last night. Maybe that will happen again, but I don't see any indicators. Sulfur looks like it might get some late afternoon 9.5 sail action.
T-heads still out there in the PM

Tomorrow, no change, with huge gear at Sulfur at least a possibility.

Sunday a little disturbance might get Grantsville going AM and DC and Sulfur going PM for
weak, but planable SW winds.
