10/24 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Mon Oct 24, 2011 8:08 am

Today warm and gusty South winds. Grantsville looks like 6.5 sails this AM and gone by Noon.
DC in the 6.5/12M range, looks like it'll be up early around Noon, and deteriorate around 4 or 5
to some wild gusts and lulls (novice kiters beware). Sulfur in the gusty 5.5 sail range PM. Potential
for Willard 6.5/12 around Noon and Mona 6.5/12 around 2.

Tuesday, cold, cloudy, and some rain mixed with solid North winds from late morning on, at
all UL launches, with Lincoln favored for afternoon 10M Kites, and Saratoga Springs Park favored
afternoon for 5.5 Sails. Rush Valley 10M Kites as well, if there's still water out there. Take
your space suit, as it will be a shocking change from Monday.

Weds, residual planable North winds at UL and Rush PM.

Anyone have input on what UL will be like today?

Maybe a chance for some gusty 16M conditions around the Boat Harbor or Lindon around Noon. I don't think there's much potential for it to turn North this evening, but you never know.
