12/2 Kenny's Where to Ride

Postby Kenny » Sun Dec 02, 2012 10:23 am

It is going to crank at Skyline and PowMow today. Expect winds building into the high-twenties at Skyline and low-thirties at PowMow with much higher gusts. The wind will become more spiky, nasty and probably downright hateful as the afternoon progresses. Expect scoured surfaces with plenty of exposed bushes and rocks. Might be a better day to don the dry suit one last time. Willard will probably give up rides this morning, but may shut down as the wind direction changes later in the day, you really never know with Willard. DC should also give up rides, but the wind will probably be very up and down and switch directions frequently. Mona should give up some good rides. Oh and Lindon, will probably go off today as well. If you are are crazy windsurfer, this is one of those epic salt pond days, you know who you are. If only Rush were full of water...

Monday is promising clearing NW winds and HOPEFULLY some new snow at Skyline, expect wind in the mid-teens.

Tuesday is looking weak right now.
