6/19 Craig's Where to Ride

Frontal passage is the word today, and with an occluded stalled front, it's anybody’s guess.
It's already North at Grantsville this AM, so I don’t' think Grantsville is going to be great.
Best bet for strong winds will be Sulfur Creek in the gusty 4.5 sail range Noon until 5. DC is looking
good, maybe even for 5/10M conditions from 11 until 4, but it's already up, and it will degenerate
pretty badly by 4PM. Rush is also already South, but with just a minor wiggle in the front, it could go North. Best bet at Rush might be to wait until about 3PM, and catch the 5/10M
North conditions as they steady up. UL looks to have a pretty good dinner sesh in it, look for 5/10M
conditions, a little gustier than usual with all the West in the North, but still pretty good at Lincoln,
and Saratoga Springs Park, until dusk. If you're out riding the South wind at either Rush or UL, expect
very weird wind as it switches North, and plan accordingly. Mona will probably hold onto some South
wind in the 7/14M range until 4 or 5 PM. Willard is too close to the stalled front for any consistency,
so I wouldn't go there, even if I could find a place to launch.

Tomorrow, PM Rush with North wind in the 7/14M range, West wind at Sulfur in the 7/14M range,
and DC will likely buck history with yet another day of 7/14M planable SW winds..

Friday, planable Rush is about all I see.
