4/15 Craig's Remembrance Forecast

Postby Craig Goudie » Tue Apr 15, 2014 9:01 am

Our friend and windriding community leader Marty Lowe died in a Snow mobiling accident April 13th.
Details and arrangements are not yet available, but I reference you to the viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11876 "Sadly sharing a great loss" thread in the
main board for what details have been provided. Remember the fragile fortune that brings you to
this moment, and our friends Marty, Pepe Sherwin, and Mitch Cummings, who now ride better winds
than we shall know until we meet them again.

Grantsville looks like 5M conditions this AM probably lasting until Noon. DC looks to have gusty SW winds
in the 6/12M range from Noon until 4 when it will probably get wildly gusty. Winds will switch North at
Rush around 3PM for some soild 6/12M rides until about 6PM. UL launches will see 5/10M conditions
from 4 or 5 PM until dusk, but expect it to get cloudy and maybe a little rainy late. South UL launches
will be favored. Air temps in the low 60s.

Tomorrow, residual 7/14M conditions PM at Rush under cold 50 degree sunny skies.

Thursday looks like a DeerCreek kinda day.
