3/10 Kenny's Where to Ride

Postby Kenny » Thu Mar 10, 2011 8:48 am

Summary: south winds pick up today as a front approaches. Weak front is forecasted to move over the area early Friday morning.

PowMow will have the strongest winds today with speeds in the low to mid-twenties. It is already on. Expect upper teens at Skyline. Strawberry should produce at the marina today. It may get a bit slushy out there with higher temps. Park City should also give up rides. For liquid lovers, Rush Lake should be rideable today on gusty, south winds. However, you may need to hike down to the shore to avoid getting your vehicle stuck.

Friday promises light NW wind at Strawberry. Skyline should also give up rides with wind in the low to mid-teens.

Saturday is promising light wind and snow flurries at Skyline and PowMow.
