5/13 Craig''s Where to be Triskaidekaphobic

Pineview "looks" windy this AM, but I'm not sure what's generating that, so the chance is
(as always) yours. Other than that it's not too windy out there. Best bet is probably Rush
lake around 3 PM for some biggest gear you've got afternoon action. DC has a slim shot
at some biggest gear you've got around 1.

Tomorrow looks like a beauty day at DC for afternoon 7.5/14.

Sunday has strong potential. Look for Grantsville AM in 5.5 range, followed by DC in the
6/12M range and up around 11 AM, Mona and UL South and West launches should be in the
6/12M range in the afternoon. Figure MM19 at about 5.5. It could really amp up mid afternoon.

Great Subject Title Craig, aroused the curiosity in me. Triskaidekaphobic: from the Greek, for Fear of the number 13.
Most extreme sportsmen don't usually have too many "fears" or phobias, or we would not partake.

The actual day phobia is: Friggatriskaidekaphobia - fear of Friday the 13th.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friggatris ... ...........
"The actual origin of the superstition, though, appears also to be a tale in Norse mythology. Friday is named for Frigga, the free-spirited goddess of love and fertility. When Norse and Germanic tribes converted to Christianity, Frigga was banished in shame to a mountaintop and labeled a witch. It was believed that every Friday, the spiteful goddess convened a meeting with eleven other witches, plus the devil — a gathering of thirteen — and plotted ill turns of fate for the coming week. For many centuries in Scandinavia, Friday was known as "Witches' Sabbath."

Huh - cool info. In the Spanish speaking world, the day of bad luck is "Martes Trece" or TUESDAY the thirteenth. Not sure where it comes from, but now some people have an excuse for twice the bad luck.
