6/28 Craig's Where to Ride

Windy today, Super windy tomorrow. South wind looks pretty strong today. Grantsville
AM looks like 6M conditions, then a mid afternoon lull, then gusty 5M conditions PM.
An occluded front with the gradient the wrong direction, will make for gustier than usual
wind at DC. Look for that to ramp up about 1 PM and maybe hit 6/12M conditions, but expect
a lot of big holes. Jordanelle similar to DC but with steadier winds PM. Rush will have AM
7/14 and then PM gusty 5.5/10M conditions until 7 or 8 PM. Willard will probably develop
some 3 PM 6/12M conditions lasting until dusk. Mona probably 5.5/10 from about 3 PM on.
Sulfur will have 5.5 winds from about Noon until 5 or 6 PM. UL launches will develop
planable South winds on a dinner sesh in the 6M range at MM19 and 12M conditions at Lincoln

Tomorrow, a strong front approaches, generating really strong South wind. Grants AM in the
4.5 range. DC up early around 11 AM with strong gusty winds in the 5.5/10M range.
Jordanelle similar to DC. Sulfur 4.7 and gusty PM. Willard 5/10M from mid morning through
most of the day. Mona 5/10 mid morning through most of the day. Rush will rock with
3.7/7M conditions all day, and all the UL launches will pump 5/10M conditions from mid
morning until early evening. There will be a spike in the wind around mid day at almost
all the locations (UL excluded) which might send you running for cover (or the smallest
gear you have) for about an hour, when you start to feel it, be prepared to do what you
need to stay safe.

Thursday planable but light North winds at Rush and UL PM.
