5/10 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Thu May 10, 2012 11:54 am

Greetings from green Kauai, where the surf is pretty big. In my time zone it's 7:30 AM, so forecasts are probably
going to be a little later in the day than usual, making it pretty easy for me, because the weather is already
happening.

This afternoon, solid North winds at Rush and UL with a side of Grantsville if you like. Rush looks like
5/10M conditions right now, maybe even 4/8 if you're light. It'll probably trail off slowly around 5 or 6 PM.
UL has similar conditions in the 5/10M or maybe even 4/8, and again trailing off, but later around 6.
Grantsville will have gusty 5.5 sail conditions until 4 or 5. Sulfur looks like 6M sail conditions if you want
an ice cream brain freeze.

Tomorrow, more planable North wind at Rush and UL PM though not as strong. Look for 6/12M conditions
at both locations.

By Saturday, planable thermal conditions at Rush in the 7/14M range, and a Dinner sesh at UL.
