5/25 Craig's Where to Poppins

Wild South winds are coming. It looks like UL launches are up already
in the 7/14M gusty South range, and will only continue to grow more
gusty and stronger. Figure 4/8M conditions at Lincoln and MM19, if
you can dodge the rain of which there is an abundance.
DC is also up already, and if the predictor is to be
believed will go from 7/14M conditions AM to dangerously gusty 4/8M
by Noon or 1. Rush is probably the best call for still gusty, but steadier
conditions than other locations. It's still North out there now, but when it
switches around Noon, it'll ramp up to 4/8 and maybe even trainer Kite
material by 3 or 4 PM. Mona and Willard look to have pretty good
5/10M conditions from about Noon on. Sulfur will have gusty 6M
sail conditions. Be very carefull out there, because there is plenty
of energy in the atmosphere, and with rain squalls coming through, it's
just a little risky.

Tomorrow, look for identicle conditions with Grantsville included,
but with all locations starting in the AM and ramping up in the PM,
and even colder air.

On Sunday, The only game may be SUlfur for a planable but steady
PM west wind.

-Craig

p.s. It's windy up here in the Hood, for the next 5 days, start thinking
about it.
