5-3-2008 Bountiful Pond

At the swap a bought one of those stand up paddles, so after I completed my honey dues I put my 165 Bic Nova in the van and ran up to the pond. There were a lot of fisherman around the lake and all looked at me like I was crazy. I had to carry my board down the shore away to keep clear of the many fishing lines. Once I got in the water I quickly realized that paddling is really mellow. I didn't fall in the water but the board I used was super wide. I need a 10 to 12 foot surf board. Any used ones out there?

By the way Jason don't cut the tube shorter. I followed instructions on sizing and then added about four inches to that and the paddle felt short. So that ended up being about 6 -7 inches off the total length.
