Brian D. and I had a great trip and rode kites 13m-7m. Plenty of wind. Full moon riding was had by many and the Richman bros put on a show of powered moves over the dock under the full moon. We were too tired to take advantage of full moon kiting, however. The place is a mob scene on the weekends and is almost too much. Makes you appreciate our little kite group we have here. My old friend Lou was there promoting his new brand Wainman Hawaii. Lots of demos of these new kites were available. I rode the 9m smoke in, well, smoke or close to. Lots of 5m's were out. Can't say I'm in love with those low aspect kites. Definately don't have the comfort factor and range of Ozone kites. I think I'll stick to my trusty old Ozones. And Brian's. Ha. Thanks man for letting me ride your small rags when the wind picked up. I think we drank too much beer btw. I think my stomach grew in circumference. Dammit! Where's the wind? We wanna show off our new tricks! JK
