8/30 Sat. G'ville: 6.7 Sumo 105/Rob 120

Postby DimitriMilovich » Sat Aug 30, 2008 1:29 pm

Ken O., John Freed and I converged at 7:30 at the G'ville rails and bar. Buddha sed "8:30 it will blow 7.0, grasshoppers". Freed and I started rigging feverishly. Ken's gear rigged itself.

8:20 we were on the water. 6.6-7.0. 5.7 lines came through around 9:30-10. I flattened and changed from the Rob to my Sumo at 9:15 or so. Very nice powered two hours. Infinite jibes as the lake constricts. Jamie (sp?), joined us after 9:00 and got some good rides too.

GeoWard showed up at 10:30 like Kramer shows up in Seinfeld's door, his whole body (and truck) twitching: "Ibeenwatchingitsince1:00!" George, it's only 10:45, it's not 1:00 yet. "NOImean1:00lastnight! Onlytookmeanhourand15minutestogethere!" Ah, the G'ville juice has many of us in its grip. I should know.

There were pulses coming through as I drove away. Hope you guys got some still. Tomorrow might rock if the front doesn't come through early...
