9/25 Pineview WB 12m Waroo big board

I should have taken Craig's advice and stayed home. I got there about 3pm and put up my 12m. There were times when it was lit and then the kite would fall from the sky. Lots of frustration. I would love to have another consistant wind day at Pineview. It's been a while. Oh well!

Ken,

Keep your weather eye on a day after a front passes with high pressure building and little
or no North wind component. That's the Lowe Effect, and it's pretty consistent for steady
12M wind at Pineview. Or, just follow Marty up.

Thanks Craig. I just keep hoping that if Weber Canyon is blowing, along with Huntsville, it will be OK. Thanks for the extra advice.

Ken,

3 PM is a late start if you want to ride 12M at Pineview. The wind often fades by that time. It is rare that Pineview blows strong all afternoon, it is more likely to blow 12M for a couple hours and then back down some. Take some big kites/big board and you are more likely to get some rides.
