Bonus round for "The Rock Star", Gunnars, and I. 4.2 Hackery, 3.7 Hackery, 4.7 The Wall, 4.7 Doug's, 4.2 Doug's
4.2 Bob's (Easterly). Can't feel bad about checking the condo for smoke damage, and winding up with 6 days
of 4.7 or better. Air is getting colder, but the water is still fine. Some of my best sailing this season.

Craig,

Awesome to hear that your back let you get on the water! Wahoo!

I hadn't heard... Was there a fire in your condo building somewhere?

Hi Rick,

There was a large fire between the condo complex and the freeway. The only damage my unit
received was a couple of broken windows (probably from the heat) on the veranda, but the
North complex fence, is pretty much destroyed. The fire burned to within inches of
Stuart's deck. The word is that the HR fire dept pretty much saved the complex, and the
Buena Vista appartments to the West of us.

Looks like Stuart and I will be contributing large to the HR Fire department.

I am feeling very fortunate, that I'm not dealing with fire insurance, and that I can
sail(albeit pretty narc'ed up).

Speaking of such, Stuart and I are trying to work out some extended play in the bonus round
about mid October. The wind can be pretty marginal that time of year, and the
temp can be cold, but I've also had some great days in Oct, and you can't beat the
crowd of 2 (Stuart and I) on the water. You don't ever have to hear "offa my wave
Utah Boy". ;*)

Wanna join us?

-Craig

Well, good... Phew! The gear didn't get burned! That was a near tragedy... ;)) Although, I'll bet you that insurance companies would badly misappraise any windsurfing gear, probably for the better...

You know I'd love to join! Fall at the Wall! How can I forget?! Work and other stuff is going to keep me tied down this fall. :?? But thx for the invite. Enjoy, I know you will.
