10/29 dc 7.5

Well not what I was excepting. Got there around 1:20 with big gusts coming through. Rigged a 7.5 and 117 liters and had ok rides for the first hour. Then the wind got weird I decided to work on my heli-tack near shore. Jim made it work on a formula board and was rigging bigger when I left. Plus, Carl came out of nowhere. I hope you made it back upwind Carl, it looked like it was going to be challenging. I hope Friday, Sat and Sun are good. See you guys on the water.

Duane Karren and I got to Island Beach around 1:00 and the wind looked a little weak so we headed to Sailboat Beach, rigged 7.5`s and got some good planers for the first hour. Both of us were on boards in the 125 to 150 liter range and when the wind lines got farther apart, I changed boards to my wide style Seatrend with a bigger fin and DK changed fins on his Mistral 150. Got some good rides shooting across the wind lines as they came down from the dam until it backed way off at 4:30. We headed for home passing Island Beach around 5:30 but didn`t see anyone out except for the Kiters hanging at their usual spot. Sorry we missed you other sailors!
