11-19-08 Skyline big kites

Postby windzup » Wed Nov 19, 2008 6:58 pm

5 riders total... Billy, Tom, and Stumper were out riding before I arrived. Sounded like a big kite morning, as the forecast predicted. Dead for a couple hours around noon, then starting pumping in a little more. All from the SW.

Couple of us on 12 Mantas, skis and boards. The 13m Instinct and 15m Manta kept Billy and Tommy more powered than the rest of us.

Light wind and thin snow. More storms please!

Windzup,
Brian Schenck

Tommy also broke out his speedflyer, for a sort flight down boscos, Well really it was a few hops, Then he was kind enough to let me kite it! Woo hooo first time I kited a true wing, very exciting, Only a hundred more hours of kiting it then I can try to move with it!!! :)))

To anyone who's been there in the past few days, what are the snow conditions like? anything left?
